[Classes 94 (ii) and 133] [Also in Group XIV] A support for garment hangers adapted to serve also as a support for a protecting bag or envelope 3 has a spacing member 8 which can be projected laterally so as to distend the upper part of the bag and comprises a bar carried by arms 7 pivoted to a supporting member 4 so as to form a folding parallelogram, an arm 10 for carrying the hangers being provided on an extension of a suspension hook 6. The bag is suspended from a yoke 4 carried by the hook 6 on the shank extension of which is mounted a sleeve 9 formed on the end of the hanger-suspension arm 10 provided with a slot 11. At its outer end the arm 10 is pivoted by a stud 12 to the bar 8. A gap 13 in the bar 8 takes over the sleeve 9 in the folded position so that the posts fold entirely beneath the yoke 4. The sleeve 9 may be fixed to the hook 6 so that turning the hook will operate the spacing device.
