[Class 11] A portable drawing-board suitable for use in wet or dirty situations has a removable cover of celluloid &c. by means of which sketches or notes may be made indirectly upon a sheet of semi-transparent paper or cloth placed beneath the celluloid with the aid of a sheet of carbon paper located underneath the paper or cloth. Impressions made on the celluloid with a pencil or style are thus recorded by the carbon paper on the underside of the drawing-sheet. The celluloid sheet d, Fig. 3, is fixed at one end to the underside of the board a, and the other end is held down by a clip f. Compressible material, such as a rubber tube g, may be employed to keep the celluloid taut. The three sheets are protected along their edges by a flanged plate h, Fig. 2, and a wood or metal strip j. A longer drawing-sheet may be carried on spools l, Fig. 7, and wound from one to the other by means of knobs. The spools are contained in a box o, the bottom n of which is removable to allow the spools and the drawing-board a to be taken out, the celluloid cover d remaining fixed to the ends of the box. '
