[Class 120 (ii)] [Also in Groups XXXV, XVI and XXII] The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 describes an apparatus for winding an electric conductor through preformed magnetic core elements, said apparatus comprising a frame-work, means for clamping the core elements in position, and a cylindrical mandrel built up of detachable segments and adapted to be rotated to wind the conductor thereon. When the winding is completed, the mandrel is removed in pieces, the core elements with the winding therethrough are removed from the frame-work, and suitable insulating and distance pieces inserted between the core elements and the winding. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
