[Class 120 (iii)] Comprises a pressure-moulded bottle-type bobbin composed of synthetic resin or other hardsetting plastic material having a short-pitch undercut screw thread formed on the conical portion 4 during the moulding and annular ribs or grooves 2 formed on the neck portion after the removal of the bobbin from the mould. Guide webs 3 are provided inside the top of the bobbin to facilitate the introduction of the bobbin spindle, and projections 10 on the lower inner edge to engage the bobbin plate. Markings to enable the quantity of yarn wound on the bobbin to be estimated may be inserted along the neck portion of the bobbin.
