[Class 81 (ii)] A device for treating stammering and like defects comprises an inflatable belt 3 adapted to surround the chest, a pressure bulb &c. 6 for inflating the belt, and an indicating device having pointers 11, 12, the index 11 being actuated by the pressure in the tube 5 connected to the belt and the index 12 by clockwork 13 regulatable by a device 15 and controllable by a push button 16. The user may by observing the movements of the two indexes learn to control his respiratory movements.
