[Class 141] Fastener elements 6 for securing the overlapping part 2 of a skirt placket in position are carried on a strip 3 fastened intermediate its width by a line of stitching 4 or other means to the overlapping part of the placket and inset from the edge thereof to form a fly strip 3a. The fly strip 3a may also be secured as at 5 intermediate the fastenings 6. Co-operating parts 7 of the fastenings 6 are carried on the overlapped part 8 of the placket. A lining strip 1 may be stitched to the hem of the placket part 2.
