[Class 103 (iv)] A skip a for use on a monorail system has the framework f hinged to a leading and trailing bogey unit c, d each mounted by means of a flanged wheel c', d' on the head of the monorail b and each having lateral connection on either side and with the rail or a part thereof through spring-loaded rollers e. The skip a is mounted on trunnions a1 supported on brackets f1 from the frame f. Extensions f2 of the frame carry antifriction rollers on which are mounted track rings c2, d2 respectively which form a part of the pivotal means of mounting the bogey units within the respective frames. The guide rollers e are mounted in brackets h hinged to lugs k carried on the underside of the track ring and are pressed against the bottom flange b' or the web of the monorail by springs j.
