[Class 5 (i)] The invention relates to traps of the kind employing an electrically-driven suction fan for drawing insects through an opening into a container for the trapped insects. According to the invention the trap comprises a casing having a plurality of openings, each leading to a separate collecting bag. In the form shown, the trap has a number of passages 3, each between two vase-shaped hollow parts 1, 2, through which air is drawn by the impeller 6, each passage 3 leading to a collecting bag 13. The air is drawn through the filter 12 and passes out through opening 9, while the insects, enticed into the air stream by a bait container 15, drop into the removable bags 13.
