[Class 26] A combined waste and overflow arrangement for a sink, wash-basin, bath or like sanitary appliance, comprises a tubular lining 14. fixed within a straight vertical passage of uniform bore in the wall 11 of the appliance, extending between an overflow opening 13 and a waste opening 12 so that ports 21, 20 connect permanently with the respective openings. Within said lining a hollow tubular valve 22, whicn may be in two parts, having unaligned ports 24, 23, may be xotated by a cap 25 so that the said openings may be connected alternatively with a discharge channel.
