[Class 108 (iii)] [Also in Group XXX] In an accumulator arrangement for whalecatchers' whale lines consisting of a number of shock absorbers of the kind described in Specification 548,028, which each have two levers 6, 7 having repective convex surfaces adapted to roll against each other under the action of load applied between the outer ends of the levers against spring means 4, 5, the shock absorbers are arranged vertically and are interconnected in parallel. The upper levers 6 are interlinked and connected to the ships structure while the lower levers 7 are connected to a pulley 12, connected by tackle (not shown) to a pulley over which the whale line freely passes.
