[Class 120(ii)] [Also in Group VIII] A presser roll assembly for textile drawing mechanism consists of a non- rotatable shaft D and one or more, preferably two, rolls, each comprising a hub 7 rotatable on the shaft D and a rim 15 which can be removed for recovering, the rim 15 being supported by an annular flange 12 on one end of the hub 7 and a ring 14 mounted on a seat 13 at the other end, so as to clamp a shoulder 16 of the rim 15 when the ring and flange are secured together. The hub 7 is preferably mounted on ball bearings positioned on the shaft D by collars 9, fastened to the shaft by set screws 10. By unscrewing studs 17 securing together the ring 14 and flange 12, the ring and rim 15 may be removed without disturbing the position of the hub.
