[Class 141] A steel is removably attached to a garment, e.g. a corset, by means of a pair of flat, rigid, sheath-like members 1, 2 secured to the garment. The member 1 has an aperture covered by a hinged plate 3, which may be held in its closed position by means of an indentation or projection 7 engaging a corresponding projection or indentation 8 formed on the side of the member 1. The members 1 and 2 may be of metal covered with material.
