A frame member form ing part of a showcase &c., comprises a flanged metal profile member 1 as of iron, steel &c. forming a core, com bined with a decorative sheet metal covering 2 e.g. of stainless steel bronze, aluminium &c. having a resilient chan nel portion towards one edge enabling it to be sprung over and clipped upon a flange on the core. A positive lock may be provided by means of a curvature 3 at the free edge of the core. A T-sectioned core may have both free edges engaged by channels formed along both edges of a detachable moulding. A more robust angle rail 8 of'folded sheet metal has projecting lips 7 to increase the grip of the covering 2.
