[Class 146 (ii)] A set of blocks for carrying out psychological tests comprises parallelepipeds 1 having unit volume and larger parallelepipeds 2, 3, 4, 5 of varying sizes the volumes of which are multiples of the unit, each dimension of each of the larger blocks being equal to or a multiple of a dimension of a unit block, the blocks being divided into not less than three groups A, B, E each identified by a common distinguishing feature such as colour and each including blocks of at least two shapes, two of the groups B, E together having a total volume equal to that of the third group A alone and being capable of being assembled to form a solid having the same shape and dimension as a solid formed by the third group. A further two groups C and D are described. A set of blocks may also include additional blocks comprising a block in the form of a segment of a cylinder to combine with two blocks each having a concave side of the same curvature to form a parallelepiped ; four square prisms to combine with all the groups A to E to form a parallelepiped of the same dimensions and four right-angled triangular prisms to combine with the two parallelepipeds to form a single larger parallelepiped.
