[Class 97 (i)] A kinematograph film magazine 17, Fig. 1, which may be of the reversible type for use in cameras operating in accordance with Specification 375,053, is provided with a film gate 37, and has studs 44, 46, fixed on a plate 45; at each end of the gate for forming resilient film loops F1, F11 maintaining steadiness in the film at the film gate. The film is fed by a claw 41 and the take-up spindle 32 is frictionally driven by a power driven disc 36 engaging a face of the film-core 31. The magazine is provided with a pair of exposure apertures 19, 20 registering with similar apertures in the film gate. In the construction shown in Fig. 3, the plate member 38, having spring members 39 acting on the gate member 37, is extended to have curved ends which encircle studs 441, 461.
