An anode for use in the electro-deposition of zinc (see Group XXXVI) consists of lead alloyed with from about .3 per cent to about 1.45 per cent silver and from about .1 per cent to about .4 per cent copper. Another anode consists of lead alloyed with from about .4 per cent to about 1.45 per cent silver, from about .15 per cent to about .45 per cent copper, from about .01 per cent to about .15 per cent manganese and from about .01 per cent to about .02 per cent cobalt.
