Class 100(i) [Also in Groups XVII and XXX] A stand for handling paper rolls comprises two pairs of interconnected curved members 1 and 2. The members 2 have a flattened stand part 2a and rollers 12 for transportation. The inner circular members 1 carry rollers 11 on which the roll is supported and can rotate for unwinding. A manipulating handle 13 slidable inwardly is provided. The space between the ends 5 and 10 may be less than the diameter of a roll and the stand with these ends facing downwards is slid end-on over the roll and then rotated' clockwise (Fig. 2) until the stand part 2a is at the bottom. Fig. 4 shows a stand which is not manoeuvrable.
