Class 120(2) A double-sided ring spinning machine has a framework constructed of transverse frames, distance tubes arranged between transverse frames and vertical supporting tubes. In a preferred construction, the transverse frames 1 are of trapezium shape, distance tubes 3, 4 being fastened at either end of the lower part 5 of each frame 1 and, other distance tubes 2 being fastened in the middle of the upper part 4'. The frames 1 are provided with brackets to support drafting means 8, thread guides 9, twist tubes 10, lifter rail balance weights 11 and supply and reserve bobbins 12, 13. Supporting tubes 6, 7 serve as guide rails for the movable spindle or ring rails 16, 17.
