In a picker made from two blanks of raw hide assembled together, tne shuttle-striking portion is formed by flaps 4c, 4d on one blank folded as shown in Fig. 6 to lie between the main panels 4a, 4b; the other blank, Fig. 7, has its main panels 5a, 5b in contact and the flaps 5c, 5d folded round them, and is inserted into the pocket 10 of the first blank.
