[Also in Groups IX and XVIII] Lengths of flexible material such as tape, lace, wire, chains or the like are packaged for display or sale by winding a continuous length of the material into a number of units 15 each of a common length onto a strip or card 12 having castellated edges so that the units are separated by the castellations 14 and are inter-connected by portions 16 of the material so that one or more units can be detached by severing along a line 17. The card may be folded concertina fashion and packed in a box 18 having a hinged flap 19. The card may be wound on a bobbin. Each unit may be numbered as at 6. -
