A method of producing a substitute for tracing cloth or tracing paper

A transparent plastic polyethylene terephthalate film is blasted on one or both sides with a hard fine-grain powder applied under pressure, to produce a substitute for drawing paper or tracing cloth. The powder may consist of flint, sand or diamond and is of particle size between 0.005 mm. and 0.05 mm., preferably between 0.01 mm. and 0.05 mm. The surface of the film may be rinsed in water after treatment.
