Indicating-apparatus, in which a pointer 3 moves in front of a scale 4 in a transparent liquid and drives a transparent maximum indicator 6 by means of a stop 5, has a stationary transparent disc 8 arranged between the pointer 3 and the indicator 6 to prevent the liquid current caused by the pointer 3 from influencing the indicator 6. The indicator 6 is mounted on a small transparent disc 7, e.g. of mica, which rests loosely on the smaller face 81 of a stepped disc 8 with a hub portion 9 mounted on the shaft 10 of a resetting knob 14.
