A trouser press comprises two tapered boards a of plain wood or plywood and a similarly shaped intermediate plate of synthetic resin &c. to be placed between the trouser legs, the boards and plate being clamped together by detachable spring clips d (see Group XXV). The boards have perforations 15 communicating with grooves 23 in their surfaces. Spring-mounted suspension. hooks i are provided at the narrow ends of the boards, and the intermediate plate has a cord p engaging over one of the hooks.
