Class 100(2) [Also in Group XXV] Means for securing a curved metal-backed rubber printing plate, particularly a plate wherein the metal is curled or curved after the rubber has been vulcanized thereto to fit a specific cylinder size and which can be sprung open to fit larger cylinders, comprises a strip metal band made sinuous or corrugated between its ends (as at 1), and provided at one end (2) with a plain part formed with a line of ratchet teeth (3), and at its other end (4) with a plain part formed with an elongated slot (5) with a tapered outer edge (6) engageable under a tooth with the band bent into closed circular form, the closed outer end of the slot (7) engaging between two adjacent teeth.
