The mine described in the parent Specification is provided with means causing the mine to explode below ground should its ejection be prevented, e.g. by the weight of a vehicle above it. A time fuze 3 leads from the ejection charge 2 to a charge 4 placed near or surrounding the detonator 5. Thus should the mine remain in the ground after ignition of the propellant 2 by the cap 1, the fuze 3 is ignited and after a time ignites the charge 4 which sets off the detonator 5 and a secondary charge 6 to initiate the main explosive charge 7.
