A double friction clutch for connecting an engine-driven fly-wheel 1 to two concentric output shafts 4, 7 driving respectively a main ground-wheel driving change-speed gear and a power take-off on a tractor, comprises a pair of driven discs 3, 6 connected to the respective output shafts 4, 7 and clamped to a plate 5 secured to the fly-wheel by presser-plates 2, 8. The clutches 3, 6 can be disengaged successively in the conventional way by a throw-out bearing 16 engaging the inner ends of radial levers 11, and the clutch 6 alone may be disengaged by a throw-out bearing 20 engaging radial levers 18. The levers 11 are pivoted at 13 on lugs fast with the plate 5 and are connected at 12 to a cover 9 which is connected by means of pins 10 to the presser-plate 2, and the levers 11 are connected at 14 to elements 15 having a lostmotion connection to the plate 8. When the levers 11 are engaged by the throw-out bearing 16 the presser-plate 2 is first disengaged from the clutch disc 3, and then when the lost-motion has been taken up the presser-plate 8 is disengaged from the clutch-disc 6. In order to disengage the clutch 6 alone, e.g. for sharp cornering of the tractor with the power takeoff interrupted, the levers 18 are pivotally mounted on lugs 22 fast with the plate 5 and have elements 19 engaging the plate 8. The bearing 20 thus disengages the clutch 6 alone.
