A washbasin unit, e.g. for use in vehicles, comprises a washbasin 1, a first reservoir 2 for clean water, a second reservoir 3 for used water, and means for supplying clean water to the basin 1 through a spray 13, all mounted and integrated as a unit. The reservoirs 2, 3 may be separate containers secured together by straps 5, a single container partitioned as at 7, or plastic bags. Water may be delivered to the spray 13 by electrical or pedal operated pumping means 11, or by compressed air introduced into the first reservoir 2 either by pre-charging or from an air bottle or by an air pump, and the water may be heated e.g. by an immersion heater. Liquid soap &c. may be supplied along with the sprayed water. In the embodiment shown the second reservoir 3 is bigger than the first reservoir 2, the latter having a filler cap 9 and the water feed arrangement including a transparent pipe 14 for checking the water level in the first reservoir and also serving as a by-pass to relieve supply to the spray 13. The whole is contained in a casing 6 with provision for storing towels &c.
