An adjustable mirror, intended for use in an educational system (see Divisions G5 and H4) to permit a pupil to view a picture projector (a television receiver or kinematograph film apparatus) which is mounted overhead and projects substantially vertically downwards, comprises a bracket 24 with adjustable arm 30 for securing to the pupil's desk, a pair of arms 38 pivoted to the bracket at 36 and a ball-and-socket mechanism 40 to which is attached the mirror 6. In a modification, arms 38 may be also be arranged for adjustment about a vertical axis in bracket 24. The assembly may incorporate a reading lamp 29.
