Unravelable stitching 19 securing a closure tape 9 to a bag mouth passes also through a narrow flexible member 17 which is secured at the unraveling end of the stitching by a spot 25 of glue so that the stitching can be unraveled by pulling the tape or cord 17 away from the glue. The member 17 may be a paper tape or a textile cord. The tape 9 is preferably of paper.
