A container for stacking continuous stationery assemblies is provided with two compartments, one of which serves for stacking of zig-zag folded record webs 2 to 6, supported in separate stacks on arcuate or planar partitions 14 to 18, the other compartment serving for reception of transfer webs 7 to 10, supported in superposed position by inserts 31 which are provided with semi-circular recesses, contiguous pairs of which form respective bearings for the ends of the transfer web cores 20 to 23. The partitions are provided with upstanding end walls 19, which in conjunction with an overlying partition define respective slots 24 through which the record webs are removed from the container. The record webs are passed over the cores 20 to 23, serving as guides, and interleaved with the transfer webs 7 to 10. The cores 20 to 23 may receive at one of their ends a respective braking or driving pin 39 (Fig. 2).
