[Also in Division G2] Wet film sheets to be fed into a drying device 4 are supported above a feed-table 2 by a cushion of gas, and move over the table to feed rollers 5, 6 in the device 4 under the force of gravity. The table 2 is a sheet of thermo-setting synthetic resin, and has a series of holes (12, Fig. 1), therein arranged so that, when air is forced through the holes, the density of the air cushion is greater along the centre than the sides of the table, and increases at the delivery end of the table. The table 2 is to the top of a metal wedge-shaped box structure 1, with upwardly projecting sides 13, 14 which act as sheet guides, and the interior 11 is rendered water-tight and accommodates a motor 7 and a fan 8. Air is drawn into the interior 11 through a hole 9, and accumulated moisture is drained through a pipe 21. The box structure 1 is attached to the drying device 4 so that the table 2 is inclined in a plane which passes slightly below the bite of the rollers 5, 6. In a modification, the motor 7 and fan 8 are dispensed with, and compressedair from the device 4 is ducted to the interior 11.
