A vinyl polymer plastisol composition contains from 0.1 to 60 parts by weight per 100 parts of the vinyl polymer of one or more aliphatic glycidyl ethers of formula FORM:1098917/C3/1 in which R is an aliphatic radical of 6 to 25 carbon atoms. By "vinyl polymer" is meant polymers derived from vinyl, vinylidene and vinylene compounds. By "plastisol" is meant polyvinyl pastes comprised primarily of vinyl polymers dispersed in a liquid plasticizer. The preferred vinyl polymer is polyvinyl chloride. In the examples mixtures of glycidyl ethers having specified weight ratios of alkyl groups are used. Also used are the n-C6, C12, C14, C16, C18, C22 and C26 glycidyl ethers. As plasticizers are used dioctyl phthalate, dioctyl adipate, tricresyl phosphate, methyl epoxy stearate, glyceryl monooleate, dibenzyl sebacate, di-n-hexyl azelate, isopropyl palmitate, tri-2-ethylhexyl phosphate and triethyl citrate. A stabilizer is used of a liquid Ba-Cd type, calcium petronate, tin mercaptide and barium laurate/cadmium laurate.
