A building block for pneumatic control and regulating purposes comprises pressure responsive diaphragms in housings 1 and 2. The housings are connected by a casing 3 having two nozzle-baffle plate systems such that two diaphragm amplifiers are produced. The housings and casing are connected to form two U- shaped gaps which can receive various functional elements such as an indicator instrument 4 and an adjusting instrument 5. The fluid connections between the several parts are made through a base-plate 6.
