A clothes wringer comprises at least one elastic roller 1 made up of several juxtaposed self-contained elastic compressed air vessels having cylindrical surfaces and a counter roller 2 impervious to water. As shown, roller 1 comprises automobile tyres 34 with rubber masses 35 vulcanised thereto and roller 2 is rigid.
