In each of .the cutter tips 11 scoured by a clamp 19 against an abutment surface 12 on the associated cutter of a series of shanked cutters of a tunnel-driving machine cutter head 1 there is provided a part spherical recess 17 that embraces a ball 16 mounted in a similar part spherical recess 18 in the surface 12 of the cutter or a part spherical projection on the clamp which is secured to the -cutter.
