A heat-developable diazotype material which comprises a support, a layer containing a diazonium compound and an azo coupler, and a layer containing fine particles of a salt of a trichologenated acetic acid and a nitrogen-containing base dispersed in a thermoplastic binder. Specified nitrogen-containing bases are alkylamines, alkanolamines, analkylamines, cycloalkylamines, hydroxyalkylamines, guanidines, morpholine, piperidine and picoline and ammonium ion.
