Composite flanged pipes - with loose fitting lining and subsequently filled annulus

The outer pipe may be of glass fibre reinforced synthetic resin or other material, the inner, coaxial tube is inserted with an annular clearance, it may be of thermoplastic or other material. The annular gap between the outer and the inner tube is filled with resin which is introduced by injection, suction or by simple pouring and casting, subsequent to which the resin is polymerised. Vessels and containers of other types may be fabricated in the same way and, if required, the process can be modified so that, after introduction and hardening of the resin, the loose inner pipe or other shape is removed.
