[Also in Division C2] As pesticides, use is made of any of seven specific 4-dimethylaminomethylphenyl-N-methylcarbamates further substituted in the nucleus by (a) a methyl group in the 2-position and an isopropyl group in the 5-position, or (b) an isopropyl group in the 2-position and a methyl group in the 5-position, or (c) a methyl group in the 3-position and an ethyl group in the 5-position, or (d) methyl groups in the 2- and 3-positions, or (e) methyl groups in the 2- and 5-positions, or (f) an isopropyl group in the 2-position, or (g) methyl groups in the 2-, 3- and 5-positions (see Division C2). Salts of these compounds may also be used. The compounds or their salts may be formulated as liquid or solid compositions with the aid of liquid or solid diluents, a number of both of which are specified, and the compositions may include surface-active or dispersing agents and adhesives. The compositions may take the form of dusts; wettable powders, water-missible oils, aerosols or smoke-generating compositions. Experimental results are given.
