A bucket 18 for use as a workers' platform when raised on a loom has a removable polyethylene liner 44 to insulate it. The bucket has opposed pairs of sides 22, 24 and 26, 28, each side of each pair being inclined the same way from the vertical, with each pair diverging upwardly to facilitate removal of the liner. The liner is similarly shaped, to provide substantial room on two adjacent sides of the bucket.
