Before injection, the cold gas is preheated in a heat exchanger which has 2 connected cells which are heated and heat the gas alternately. The gas moves upwards during heating. Pref. a hot gas exit at the top of the exchanger is common to the 2 cells. In the cell being heated, the pressure is kept at slightly less than in the gas-heating cell, eliminating all valves in the exit path of the hot gas.
