The composition contains 7.5 to 15 ppm of gibberellic acid and 500 to 4000 ppm (pref. 2000) of sodium lauryl sulphate in aq. solution. The use of sodium lauryl sulphate with gibberellic acid gives about a 50% increase in the yield of pears compared with the use gibberellic acid alone.
