A wall comprises P.V.C. panels 1 held together by P.V.C. ties 8 engaging ribs on the rear faces of the panels, and a concrete core cast between the two sets of panels. Some of the ties also (as shown) hold together adjacent panels in the same skin by engaging edge ribs 9 and 10 and a projection 12. In a second embodiment (Fig. 7) the panels have cylindrical projections formed with dovetail recesses in which dovetail ties engage. In a further embodiment (Fig. 6) dovetail projections from the rear faces of the panels are engaged by dovetail recesses in the ties. A light weight heat or sound insulating infill may be used instead of concrete.
