Head comprises a housing in which a concentric core is held by crosspieces. Between the core and the housing wall, a ring jacket divides the annular flow path of the plastic into two concentric, tubular paths. The crosspieces extend only through part of the ring jacket zone. In another zone opposite surfaces of the inner housing wall and the outer ring jacket and core surfaces are smooth and converge so that the flow path narrows.
