(per animal/day) 4-Me-2-thiohydantoin. 0-5g; p-HO propiophenone 0.3g; 6 (or 4)-Me-2-thioracil 3.5g; 5,5-DiEt-thiobarbituric acid 2.0g; "Dylox" 2.0 g, added to a 30 lbs/Day ration produced after 45 days mean daily wt. gains of: Controls 2.7 lbs; above additive 4.4 lbs; above additive + tolbutamide (3 g/animal/day) 4.8 lbs.
