Washing endless paper web felts - in a machine provided with carriage supporting the felts

Endless paper web dehydrating webs are washed and impregnated automatically in a washing machine having a pivotally mounted upper squeegee cylinder and a filt supporting carriage mounted on guide rails for movement into and out of the machine so that the endless felts can be loaded and removed outside the machine and the carriage is provided with a guide and a lower squeeze squeegee cylinder provided at one end with spigots which are journalled in several bearings on the carriage, the journals forming the sole support of the cylinders during loading and unloading and movement of the carriage to and from the machine.
