Gold decoration applied on porcelain below glazing

Damage by fruit juices, spilled material and wear in porcelain articles with Au metallic decoration is prevented by using a metal coating applied below glazing. Pref. m.pt. of glazing is below m.pt. of metal coating. Pref. metal coating consists of hard solder or pref. bronze colours, its m.pt. pref. is above the sharp firing temp. and it is pref. worked up before firing glaze.
