This electrical stimulation appts. generates two different low frequency electric currents, both of which are themselves clinically effective and which, moreover, result in a third beat frequency current for in-depth therapy. - Two generators (2,3) produce low frequency a.c.- or chopped d.c.- currents which are applied to the patient via two pairs of electrodes (7,9,8,10). The first frequency is about 100 hz, and the second is 0-5 Hz with slow-rising amplitude. A third beat frequency current is consequently produced at greater depth (11).PS(1)
