摘要

Method of preparing radiation shields for X-ray generating sources esp low energy sources between 40 and 400 KV comprises manufacturing prestressed plates contg BaSO4 or other Ba cpd replacing the marble in the known process for making "Granit" (RTM) i.e. mixing with cement and water, casting the mix and vibrating impregnating with a cement paste to form a base compressing at 150 kg/cm2 and immediately removing the mould.
