Before or after producing the mortar slurry, mixtures of alkaline-reacting binder and industrial waste are added to the CaSO4 binder which, during hydration with calcium sulphate giving sulphate-rich calcium aluminate sulphate hydrate and calcium ferrite sulphate hydrate, react to give a reduced free lime content and the formation of complex salts via the solution phase. Specifically, the industrial waste contains reactive silicic acid. The CaSO4-based binder is beta hemihydrate plaster or mixtures of beta and alpha hemihydrate plaster.
