Si 1À1-6% Ti being 1À1 x ( per cent Ti in workpieces Œ 0.5) 1-4% .. .. .. .. .. Cu 1-4% .. .. .. .. .. Mo balance .. .. .. .. Ni the workpieces and the rod being preheated. The rod and workpieces are preheated to at least 600‹ C. (e.g., 900‹ C.) and the hot rod is rotated in the flux and so coated along its whole length. The rod is cast or made by powder metallurgical methods. The flux must be kept in anhydrous condition.
